About Me.
Hi! I'm Joey. Here's just a little bit about me. I started my theatre journey at the ripe of six. I started by mimicking the voices of cartoon characters. This then snowballed into singing, storytelling, and acting. By the time I was ten, I got stung by the theatre bug, and I couldn't shake it ever since. I am currently a BFA Acting Major at the University of Central Florida. At UCF, I've been able to experiment with voice and movement work, Shakespearean Skills, improv, Uta Hagen technique, and much more!

Over the summer of 2024, I had the privilege of working at the historic Minot State University Summer Theatre. There, I was able to gain some hands-on experience in set construction and met some wonderful people. In one of our productions, the 39 Steps, I had to step in for a performer who wasn't able to go on due to an injury. I had to learn his track, Clown 2 - a character that plays over 20 different roles - in just under a week! It was an exciting and unforgettable experience. At UCF, I've had the honor to portray the Beadle in Sweeney Todd at the Dr. Phillips Center as a part of UCF Celebrates the Arts. UCF has also allowed me to do many amazing master classes, like one with Rob McClure (seen to the left).
